Serving our customers and communities in New England

Our story began in 1924, when K.C. Irving opened his first service station in his hometown of Bouctouche, New Brunswick. His philosophy was simple – we understand our customers, and we go above and beyond to deliver the service they need.

As we’ve grown from humble beginnings, we continue to uphold the values of our founder by putting our customers and the communities we serve first.

Today, we hold a strategic presence in Eastern Canada and New England. And we’re proud to have recently acquired a family-owned company in Ireland, the Tedcastle group of companies, which operates under the brand Top Oil.

To help serve our customers, we operate Canada’s largest refinery and Ireland’s only refinery, along with an integrated supply chain of distribution terminals, a fleet of delivery marine vessels and delivery trucks, a network of travel plazas and more than 900 fueling locations.

With a solid base, we look forward to continued growth. As our terminal network in New England expands, we can offer more quality fuels to our customers.

In addition to creating low-sulfur fuels and reducing emissions, we’re committed to protecting ecosystems and wildlife by working closely with long-term partners such as the New England Aquarium and Ducks Unlimited.

Pitching in to help our local communities is a part of our commitment to you. Since 2002, our Fuel the Care program has helped more than 50,000 families in the US and Canada with the cost of travel between home and hospital.

We will continue to fuel our local communities and support our neighbors in every way we can
